Penumbral ShroudSpell 1

EvocationDarkness
Source Pathfinder Lost Omens: Gods & Magic
Traditions Arcane, Occult
Cast Two Actions (somatic, verbal)
Range 30 feet
Target 1 creature
Duration 10 minutes
Saving Throw Reflex

You envelop the target in a shroud of shadow. The target perceives light as one step lower than it actually is (bright light becomes dim light, for example), affecting their ability to sense creatures and objects accordingly. The shroud also provides the target a +1 status bonus to saving throws against light effects. While this effect is helpful to creatures sensitive to light, if the creature is unwilling, it can attempt a Reflex save to avoid the shroud and reduce the effect.

Critical Success The target is unaffected.

Success The effect lasts for 1 round.

Failure The effect lasts its normal duration.

Traits

Common

Anything that doesn't list another rarity trait (uncommon, rare, or unique) automatically has the common trait. This rarity indicates that an ability, item, or spell is available to all players who meet the prerequisites for it. A creature of this rarity is generally known and can be summoned with the appropriate summon spell.

Evocation

Effects and magic items with this trait are associated with the evocation school of magic, typically involving energy and elemental forces.

Darkness

Darkness effects extinguish non-magical light in the area, and can counteract less powerful magical light. You must usually target light magic with your darkness magic directly to counteract the light, but some darkness spells automatically attempt to counteract light.
