Target 1 object of 1 Bulk or less, either unattended or possessed by you or a willing ally
Duration until the next time you make your daily preparations

The object glows, casting bright light in a 20-foot radius (and dim light for the next 20 feet) like a torch. If you cast this spell again on a second object, the light spell on the first object ends.

Heightened (4th) The object sheds bright light in a 60-foot radius (and dim light for the next 60 feet).


Traits

Common

Anything that doesn't list another rarity trait (uncommon, rare, or unique) automatically has the common trait. This rarity indicates that an ability, item, or spell is available to all players who meet the prerequisites for it. A creature of this rarity is generally known and can be summoned with the appropriate summon spell.

Evocation

Effects and magic items with this trait are associated with the evocation school of magic, typically involving energy and elemental forces.

Cantrip

A spell you can cast at will that is automatically heightened to half your level rounded up.

Light

Light effects overcome non-magical darkness in the area, and can counteract magical darkness. You must usually target darkness magic with your light magic directly to counteract the darkness, but some light spells automatically attempt to counteract darkness.
